| I never knew what happiness meant until I got back from vacation and all the stress that I left behind resurfaced. Loved the weather at PV, loved the lifestyle, wish I could stay there longer...maybe next time. Here are a few pics:
Aaaahhhh, sunset by the beach. Truly incredible!!!! This is the view from our hotel, El Pescador. We swam in their pool almost every day and enjoyed every minute of it. Also had a room massage....now THAT's a vacation!
It wouldn't be Mexico without a li'l tequila tasting. We're missing Caritas here....
And this was our big dinner at the famous Le Kliff Restaurant, where romantics can bask in the glory of the sunset while listening to live Mexican music. The view was incredible, and the food was classy. So anyway, Hanh took more pics, but you get the gist of it. I am so sad going back to old responsibilities. I need another vacation!!!! So aside from this, we swam with dolphins, everyone except me did the canopy ride which I heard was truly an experience to remember, we planned on snorkeling but the weather wasn't ideal so we went horse back riding to a waterfall instead and then went to a nice beach where we had shrimp cocktail, nachos, and lemonade. Of course, I did a lot of shopping too!!! He he he. I even bought a painting reproduction of famed Latin American artist, Fernando Botero (Toilet 1989). Mia loved it so much she kept on taking pictures of it....ha ha ha. Loved it, Puerto Vallarta rocks, will go again....with a side visit to Guadalajara of course. | | |
| Thanks to everyone who came to my surprise b-day party! Can't believe everyone was there inspite of the winter storm. Lots of good food and good-lookin' people that night, and I've got "blackmail" pics to prove it--ha ha! I luv u guys--special tnx to the organizers and B96 (got a free shirt, yeay!). You guys really made my day and night!!! BTW, got a special gift that night too--some special bling-bling that's gonna last me forever....... | | |
| Bad news: I am sick with a bad cold. No shopping for tomorrow, I'm afraid. Good news: I guess I won't be eating much.

| So I've returned to the world of Xanga after a long absence. For those out there who actually visit this site, I went on a "sabbatical" primarily due to laziness and cautiousness. Since that time, some things have changed and some have not. But the good thing is, I'm one step closer to graduation. Yeah! My first thought is, I'm glad it's almost Christmas time. It's such a magical season and I want to be transported to happy times once again. So far this year has been a mix of sadness (my aunt's passing, my grandfather's frail health), anxiety (rotations, job-hunting), and happiness (Kurt and I just had our anniversary, my family and friends, general well-being). But no matter, the joy of Christmas is here. I just cannot wait to hear those Christmas songs over and over again. Next thought: should I post pictures in my Xanga site? I'm usually a private person, but my xanga site address kinda defeats that purpose don't you think? I just don't know how to change it. Anyway, I'm so paranoid that crazy people/possible stalkers/FBI/CIA/OHS would learn so much about me just from what I post here (now why would they care, you ask? I dunno, I think too much obviously). So I'm playing it safe and putting up Little Twin Stars for now. Ha ha. | | |
